Snug Harbor
Captain sets the anchor firm
In safe, calm anchorage
Two A.M. in howling winds
The anchor frees its hold
Set adrift with no control
The vessel doomed to crash
Waves are whipped to beer-like froth
React or blow away
Harbor snug was perfect choice
Or so the captain thought
Storms disrupt the best laid plans
To teach, so we may learn
Lives on Earth are fleeting times
For soul progression growth
Thrust outside the comfort zone
Be lost or reach for home
Guidance there, for us to ask
Free will, but help nearby
Practice stillness listening
The angels wait to aid
Life is full of miracles
Go forth, fear not, be brave
God’s got this, the plan is set
Believe! Feel Joy! Rejoice!
HOPE
Wish not for the return to “normal”
Selfish agendas, divisiveness, wars
Hope for a “new” way of being
One that honors Earth and all living creatures.
Dial Down
Dial down expectation
Instant gratification
Refuge found divinity
Honor life, thank the planet
One eternal energy
Be Still
“Be still!” No entertainment.
Punishment
“Sit there and think about it!”
Tedium
Worldwide virus halts the train
Stuck inside
Forced to face our inner fears
Panic spreads
Look around at status quo
Comforting
New days dawn, the birds still sing
Flowers bloom
Time to chill, step off the wheel
Wait the storm
Meditate, appreciate
Inner peace
What If?
What if the worst were to happen?
Would the sky fall?
Would the rock beneath you crumble?
Swallow you whole?
Frightening stories imagined
Anxious, worried
Most horrific never transpire
Energy lost
Negative thoughts consume the mind
Pilfer the joy
Magic, love, abundance life grants
Illness prevails
Challenges will test the mettle
View with open heart
What if the best were to happen?
What if……..
